Hear directly from our LL.B students and alumni on how the programme shaped their legal careers.
The LL.B programme at ISBR gave me a strong foundation in both theory and practice. The moot court sessions and internship placements were invaluable. By the time I cleared the AIBE, I already felt like a practising lawyer — that confidence came entirely from what ISBR built in me.
What I appreciated most was the access to experienced faculty who had both academic credentials and real courtroom experience. The guest lectures by sitting advocates and judges gave me perspectives that no textbook ever could. ISBR truly bridges the gap between law school and legal practice.
I joined ISBR after my engineering degree, looking to transition into law. The structured curriculum, coupled with the supportive faculty and active legal aid cell, made the transition seamless. Today I work with a leading litigation firm in Bengaluru — and it all began here at ISBR.
ISBR shaped me into a confident courtroom advocate. The moot court programme is exceptional — by my second year I was arguing practice cases that mirrored real civil disputes. When I appeared before the District Court for the first time after graduation, it felt like familiar ground. The training here is genuinely world-class.
After completing LL.B at ISBR, I qualified for the Karnataka Judicial Services in my very first attempt. The constitutional law and criminal procedure modules were taught with such depth that my preparation barely felt like extra work. The faculty here genuinely invest in their students' long-term success — I cannot thank them enough.
I came to ISBR from a small town with big ambitions. The college's legal aid clinic gave me my first real client experience in Year 1. Today I work at a leading corporate law firm in Bengaluru, and the quality of my foundational training at ISBR is the single biggest reason I was able to compete with graduates from far more prominent institutions.
Our faculty bring decades of academic expertise and courtroom practice to every lecture.
